World Powerlifting Championships 2012In October 26-27 and 28, BIG IRON Powerlifting USA and ADFPF will host the 2012 WDFPF World Powerlifting Championships. As Usual, the competition will take place right after the annual WDFPF congress. The Venue is located in a nice Massachussets area only 20 miles from Boston. All competitors must be registered through their

WDFPF: Election for the General secretary position.During the WDFPF 2010 congress our General Secretary Judith Gedney, who has done this job for about 20 years,
announced her retirement from 2011.
In June this year, during the World Single Event Championships, Judy would like to hand over this position to a
new General Secretary. This should give the WDFPF enough time to look for someone to take over.
Therefore we invite anyone who would be interested in this job, to put your names forward without delay.
Please keep in mind that this is a NON PAID position, with a great responsibility and quite a lot of work. It is also
expected that the new holder of this position will be exclusively dedicated to the WDFPF. English language is a priority for this position, and candidates should also be online.
All candidates MUST send their letter of application to the WDFPF Exec. Committee before 30th April 2011. This
can include a short description of experience, and reasons why they feel they are suited for the position.
